Stopped here because Google said it was good. They were right! This is real deal BBQ, super friendly people, and very reasonable prices with big portions. Stop and give it a try - you'll leave full and happy.

Hands down, the very best BBQ in East Texas! Bob and his family take pride in making the customers bellies full and their tastebuds jumping with joy. They have been featured in Oprah Magazine as having amazing BBQ. When Bodacious built a restaurant across the street there was no concern because they aren't "family owned and operated" with a smile as big as Mr. Bob's and the kind "hello" from the family. Not to mention the great food!

I tried this place for the 1st time today, and I'm in love. The brisket was amazing, I loved the beans and sausage. The peaches and pecan cobbler was excellent. I would also note the owner has many awards for his BBQ. Definitely coming back.

Stopped here on our way back to Dallas! The BBQ melted in my mouth! It was everything I hoped it would be! Will def be stopping every time I come through! Potatoe salad and coleslaw were perfect! Real home cooking and very friendly family!

Worst BBQ I've ever had. Paid $30 for a dinner I'm mostly feeding to the dog.

Awesome moist chopped BBQ sandwiches. The potato salad was perfect and the pecan cobbler was to much. Gotta love it. I'll be back.

We are the Trail Lizards Jeep Club from Bossier City Louisiana. Bob won our three state BBQ Shoot Out in 2015. Today we returned to eat some champinsonship BBQ! We were not disappointed! Bob and his staff are very friendly and the BBQ is the best! You like BBQ you must go to Bob's!

Great taste , good food

I've been here once. The barbecue is good. It wasn't the bee's knees, but it was good. I didn't get as much barbecue as I was hoping for for the price. It's in an older building so it's definitely a No-Frills type place.

I love this place it reminds me of my home town rib place called Hilary's in Waukegan IL. The only thing I find lacking it the portion for the price. Sausage only 6 pieces and brisket 7 slices. I know got to make a profit, but you don't have to make a killing. Let your customer enjoy. Especially out of towners.

Nice people, but that's about as far as it goes. Stopped here multiple times but place was always closed. Finally, on one trip passing through they were open. I wanted to try because they were on Texas Monthly list. The food I ordered was warmed in a microwave. That's about all I feel needs to be said. But, like I said, the folks running the place were super nice.

Bob gets a FIVE STAR here from this Texan.The Bar-BQ was so good.They must stop the nuking of the meat and other treats in the microwave.

For a hole in the wall BBQ this place is extremely clean, this is a family run business and when you're in here you're treated like family. Now onto the food I've had the brisket and the sausage and the ribs and it's all good the only thing I can't figure out is why you would take good food and heat it up in the microwave and and destroy a perfectly good piece of meat. The bands are homemade and the potato salad is store bought and some of the pies. With that all said I still keep coming back.

I have lived in Texas for many years, spent time in Memphis, and many other states that purport to have great BBQ. I have to say that Bob's is one of my new favorites. The brisket was moist (even the lean) and had great depth of taste. The smoked sausage was also very good. The true measure of BBQ is whether the meat 'needs the sauce' to have taste. Bob's definitely did not. The sides were also very good...the beans, the coleslaw, etc.It is worth the drive to Henderson for this BBQ.

Great BBQ and friendly atmosphere. I definitely will go back. I plan to tell all my friends. They also sell syrup and honey.

We stopped at Bob's BBQ while passing through and were very happy we found this place! The employees were super friendly and the food was delicious! If we are ever in the area again we will definitely be coming back :)

Bob's is the best ever. Been eating here since I was a youngster. I'm 53 now. Never changed and by God's grace never will. How can you top perfection. Me and my boys were in today on our way to Jacksonville. Thank you Bob and whole family. It was great as always. We love ya baby your top BBQ man. Should be voted number 1 in texas

GREAT FOOD nice people

This is decent BBQ. The ribs were tender and smokey with a light, paprika-based dry rub, the brisket was good (if a little dry and plain), and the sausage was kind of hot-doggy. The turkey was moist, but a bit bland. The sides were all good. Their BBQ sauce is a smokey, tomato-based sauce that's as thick as some St. Louis sauces, but vinegary instead of sweet.

Amazing food and friendly service! Don't pass through town without trying this wonderful restaurant. The brisket was lean, moist, and flavorful. I'm looking forward to trying the turkey next trip through town! Axe 'em Jacks!
